Our service works alongside your GP. You'll need a GP referral and a GP willing to manage any medication prescribed after your assessment. For patients residing in NSW or WA, or whose GPs are unable to prescribe S8 medications, we have the Script Start Package available with additional fees.

1. What are you seeking an assessment for?
Fees are subject to change. If you have a DVA card or Medicare card, our team will discuss eligibility with you. Our team will always confirm your fee quote before your appointment.
Takes just 15 minutes to book your intake — then continue straight into your questionnaires.
Four structured steps - clear timelines, no surprises
Complete a set of validated questionnaires before your intake appointment.
Right after booking your intake appointment, you can continue directly on the website to complete a comprehensive set of validated questionnaires. These cover your attention, behaviour, mental health history, and daily functioning — and must be completed before your intake appointment. If you don't finish in one sitting, we'll send you a link to continue.
You'll complete standardised ADHD rating scales and mood screening tools. Your answers are reviewed by your assigned psychiatrist before any appointments.
A clinician reviews your results and history via telehealth.
A mental health clinician meets with you via telehealth to review your questionnaire results, take a thorough clinical history, and prepare a detailed summary for the psychiatrist.
Your clinician will explore your developmental history, current challenges, and any relevant family history. They act as a bridge between your self-report and your psychiatrist.
A FRANZCP psychiatrist reviews everything and makes a formal diagnosis.
You'll meet with one of our FRANZCP-fellowed psychiatrists via telehealth. They review all prior assessments and make a formal diagnosis where appropriate. For a combined ADHD + Autism assessment, your care may involve two psychiatrist sessions: an ADHD assessment (bulk-billed under Medicare Item 291 if eligible) and a separate Autism (ASD) assessment. Your clinician pre-books these after your intake, if suitable to proceed.
Our psychiatrists are Fellows of the Royal Australian & New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP). If a diagnosis is made, your GP receives a comprehensive report with prescribing guidance. Our psychiatrists focus on assessment and diagnosis. Ongoing psychiatric management is coordinated through your GP.
Ongoing therapy and psychoeducation once your plan is in place.
Once your diagnosis and treatment plan are established, our clinicians provide ongoing therapy and psychoeducation sessions focused on understanding ADHD and building practical strategies.
These sessions are delivered by our mental health clinicians and are bulk-billed where eligible. They complement your GP-managed medication plan.
⚠️ Existing patients only
This service is only available after your psychiatric assessment is complete. Bulk billing requires a referral generated by your Telecare psychiatrist.
